First Teaser for Hayao Miyazaki’s The Wind Rises

Studio Ghibli has just released the international teaser trailer for The Wind Rises (Japanese title: Kaze ga Tachinu), Hayao Miyazaki’s next anime movie, and it is stunningly beautiful. The Wind Rises promises to continue Miyazaki’s explorations of the awe and beauty of flight, as previously seen in Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, and, of course, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. The trailer, which first appeared on NTV’s Every program, is short, calming, and exquisite. You can see it below.
